Signé sur le label nantais Olympic Disk, comme Dominique A, l'étasunien Troy Von Balthazar nous offre son premier album éponyme en 2005.

Auparavant, deux EP voient le jour. Le premier Sweet Receiver (2001), fut suivi en 2002 par Red Spider.

C'est en 2010 qu'il termine son deuxième album sur le label 3rd Side Records "How To Live On Nothing".
